I’ve always believed that skincare doesn't have to be complicated. It simply starts with pure, high-quality ingredients. That conviction has never changed.
So when the opportunity came to partner with The Emperor’s Beef and source premium grass-fed, grass-finished Akaushi Wagyu tallow, it was an easy decision.
Akaushi Wagyu is one of Japan’s original Wagyu breeds, long prized for its remarkable genetics and exceptional quality. For generations, these cattle were carefully protected in Japan before a limited number were introduced to the United States in the 1990s, making purebred Akaushi exceptionally rare today.
Naturally rich in skin-loving fatty acids, Akaushi Wagyu tallow helps nourish the skin’s moisture barrier while providing the clean, wholesome benefits we’ve always believed in. Combined with cattle raised to the highest standards of care, it’s simply the finest tallow we’ve ever had the privilege of using.
What goes into our products matters just as much as what we leave out. That’s why I choose ingredients I’d confidently use on my own family—because I know you’ll be using them on yours.

Our Story
Hi! I’m Amanda, the owner and maker behind Heritage Tallow Shoppe.
I’m a faith-filled wife to an amazingly supportive husband, a homeschooling mom to three boys, and now, by God’s grace, a small business owner.
Heritage Tallow Shoppe was born out of a mama’s heart that was desperate to find a more natural, effective way to care for my husband and son’s worsening psoriasis. It felt like nothing worked. That frustration turned into determination and eventually led our family on a journey toward cleaner living—not only through the foods we ate, but also through the products we put on our skin.
That journey eventually led me to tallow.
I still remember walking out of a local grass-fed butcher with my very first box of unprocessed suet, wondering if I might have gone just a little “extreme.” But after making my very first batch—our Frankincense Rose Body Butter—I was hooked. That simple recipe became the foundation of everything Heritage Tallow Shoppe is today.
As I learned more about tallow and experienced its benefits firsthand, a dream began to grow. In early 2024, that dream became Heritage Tallow Shoppe.
My heart has always been simple: to create clean, thoughtfully crafted skincare made with exceptional ingredients that I feel good about using on my own family and am proud to share with yours.
